Category: Butthole problems

Butthole problems Or anal problems are nothing but the problems in the rectum and anus. Lower part of the large intestine where stool is stored before excretion is the rectum while anus is the opening of the rectum through which the stool is excreted. People feel embarrassed to discuss the problems in these body parts but they must not be avoided as overlooking the symptoms may lead to serious health conditions.
Most of the problems in the “butthole” part starts with minor uncomfortable feelings and if not treated results to fatal things like cancer. Let us have a look at some of the disorders of the “butthole” region and their causes as well as symptoms.

Haemorrhoids / Hemorrhoid (piles)

Swollen and inflamed veins around the anus and lower rectum are termed as haemorrhoids or Hemorrhoid or hemroids. They can be internal and external. Haemorrhoids are caused as the result of strain during bowel movement. Constipation makes the stool hard and dry. Excretion of solid waste from the body thus becomes extremely straining. As the rectum has to work hard to pass the hard and dry stool, it is damaged. Improper eating habit that leads to constipation problems can be identified as the basic cause of this particular disorder. Basic symptom of haemorrhoids is having constipation for long time and feeling pain while passing stool.

Abscesses & Fissures

A pocket of pus occurring in the rectum is called anal abscesses while a fissure is nothing but tear in the canal lining. Generally they happen close to the anus but may also occur higher in the canal of the anus.
These can be caused as the result of Crohn’s disease (which is actually the inflammation of gastrointestinal tract for long period of time). Sometimes it becomes hard to find out the cause of this disorder because of the absence of any particular reason. A blocked and inflamed anal gland can give rise to the abscesses and fissures. Infection and sexually transmitted diseases are some of the important causes.

Bowel inconsistence

Inability to control the bowel is termed as bowel inconsistency. People suffering from this disorder face embarrassment as they cannot make it to the toilet in time. Accidental leakage of solid or liquid stool is the basic symptom of bowel inconsistency. Prolonged constipation problem, diarrhoea, haemorrhoids and damage as well as weakness of anal and rectal muscles are among the basic causes of this disorder.

Cancer

Certain problems of rectum and anus can lead to cancer if not treated properly. A tumour in the butthole region is often hard to identify as they are so deep inside the body. They show symptoms of uneasiness once they become really problematic. Anorectal abscesses and fissures may also lead to cancer if left untreated for long time. Not all tumours occurring in this region are malignant, but one has to make sure that it is not and also have proper treatment to get rid of the tumour. Cancer in the butthole parts are termed as rectal or colorectal cancer. It can spread to inner body parts very rapidly and thus needs to be treated immediately. People having a history of colon or rectal cancer in the family are very much prone to this disease.
