With the progress of the disease, the communication system among the nerve cells breaks down. Two types of Alzheimer’s disease are – the Early-onset and the Late-onset Alzheimer’s disease. First one generally affects people under the age of 65 and usually runs in families. The second type is much common and affects people over 65 years of age.
Causes of Alzheimer’s disease unveiled the fact of occurrence of chemical and structural changes in the brain. Such changes interfere with the affected person’s ability to store, process as well as retrieve information. It is still unknown why these changes actually occur!
Symptom of Alzheimer’s disease is primarily loss of memory. Brain tumour

Brain tumour is nothing but the mass formed by the overgrowth of abnormal cells in the brain. Like tumours in any other part of the body, brain tumours can also be benign or malignant. True benign tumours are made of noncancerous cells and do not invade the brain tissues. On the other hand, the malignant tumours appear to be benign but they actively invade the brain tissues and consist of cancerous cells.
A tumour in the brain actually starts as certain genes on the chromosomes of a cell stops proper functions. These are the genes that regulate the cell division process. Exact cause for the occurrence of brain tumour cannot be determined as they vary between individuals. So, abnormal division of cells has been identified to be the overall reason.
Development of brain tumours is generally unidentifiable in the preliminary stages. Occurrence of headaches without any identifiable reason, malfunction of nervous system or loss of health can be the symptoms of brain tumours.

Brain stroke

Strokes in brain occur when blood vessels carrying nutrients and oxygen to the brain gets blocked or bursts. Brain stroke is the disorder of the brain that results to death of the cells in that part of brain where the flow of blood is interrupted. Interruption of blood flow can be the result of a blood clot or rupturing of blood vessels.
As said, brain strokes are caused as the result of interruption of blood flow in brain; it is obvious that the primary causes are the body dysfunctions that lead to improper blood flow. This may be caused by blocking of blood vessels due to any internal clotting or in case the blood vessels carrying blood into brain is ruptured due to excessive pressure.
This is the brain disease which hardly gives you any time to identify the symptoms and to get the right treatment. A severe stroke will lead to death of the brain cells, while a minor attack may lead to partial damage and partial paralysis.
